Campaign Manager - Campaigns

Campaign Design And Flow Overview

Campaign View gives you the ability and flexibility to design your campaigns in any way you choose.

When you click the New Campaign button in Campaign View, you have the option of selecting campaign templates or of creating your own custom design from scratch.

A Campaign design and flow consists of elements, typically:

  1. Audience - This is a mandatory element, you must specify the customers you are targeting with the Campaign.
  2. Timers - Add a timing element to the Campaign e.g. set a schedule for when the Campaign will run.
  3. Variables - Allows you to personalize your Campaign, for example, you can add recipient names to the emails you are sending out.
  4. Communication – could be an Email or File Output (for example, a file could be used by a call center to contact people on the list).
  5. If you want to make the Campaign responsive, you can add Inbound Event elements. If an event occurs, it triggers another action in the Campaign. For example, if a purchase is made on the website, the customer will receive an email of similar product offers. Inbound Event elements have a green output icon to connect to the next step if the event occurred, and a red output icon if you want to move to another phase of the campaign if the event did not occur in the specified time.
